COLOR FOR QUILTERS is a class series that will help you to deepen your understanding about color and to feel more confident about your color choices and combinations. It is composed by two On demand classes “Befriending Colors” and “Playing with Color Value”.

1. BEFRIENDING COLORS

In this class, you will learn about the chromatic circle and the three variables of color.
Five different color schemes that you can use to create your color palette.
And I will teach you four simple steps to create your own color palette

2.- PLAYING WITH COLOR VALUE

In this class you will learn how to use color value to design a quilt. I will show you many examples and exercises, I will show you my methodology to play with color value and I will explain this in a detailed way using many of my quilts as examples.

With all my classes you will receive access to a private Facebook group where you can share your progress, ask questions and share your creation.

All these classes are PRERECORDED so you can watch them at your own pace and time and as many times as you want

4.- Four simple steps to create your color palette

5.- Which chromatic sources are useful to start creating your own color palette.

6.- You will receive access to a Facebook group where you can share your progress, ask questions and share your creation.

PLAYING WITH COLOR VALUE

ON DEMAND CLASS watch at your own pace and time and as many times as you want.

Duration: 80 minutes.

In this class, you will learn:

1.- About color theory: the chromatic circle, what value is, what saturation is.

2.- How to use color value to design a quilt. I will show you many examples and exercises, I will show you my methodology to play with color value and I will explain this in a detailed way using many of my quilts as examples.

3.- With this class, you are going to design your own quilt from the beginning. You will design your block, color your design and plan the construction.

4.- I will show you my process to plan the construction of your quilt.

5.- This class includes a handout with material that allows you to design and to plan the construction of your quilt.

6.- You will receive access to a Facebook group where you can share your progress, ask questions and share your creation.

Necessary materials:
Paper, colored pencils, sewing machine that makes a straight stitch, a quarter-inch foot, fabrics, thread, rotary cutter, ruler and iron.
Beginners to advanced quilters.

Once the payment has been made and confirmed, you will receive a link where you can watch the course, at your own pace and time and as many times as you want.
