Truly a fantastic class! I thought I didn’t have much to learn about the colour wheel but the colour theory about transparency effects was both very interesting and very helpful. I also loved the English Paper Piecing technique that Carolina taught — I am incredibly excited about all the quilt designs that I can make using the technique, especially all the designs that otherwise would not be possible to piece. Not only do you design and make a fun (and impressive!) mini the class, you also learn techniques that you can use in many future quilts. Carolina is an excellent teacher and a pleasure to learn from.

Great Class. Good explanation about the color wheel any how to use. I really like the EPP technique Carolina taught was –I am a long time hand piecer but have never tried EPP. I think I could get hooked. Will finish up the project we started in Class and start on something new that I have been contemplating about how best to tackle and this EPP technique may be the solution. Carolina is a very good teacher.

Loved this class! I’ve taken many color classes, but I picked up a few new tips. I really enjoyed learning how Carolina uses EPP to create overlapping transparent shapes. I’ve never been a big fan of EPP, but for the first time I am able to see how I can use the technique to create fluid, improv shapes in my work. Carolina is a great teacher. Also learned a lot from her Organic Shapes video.
